It is one thing to make a great looking website and quite another to make a website that reflects the taste and personality of someone who has such a strong sense of style and design. We work closely with our clients to match their aesthetic preferences, identify the goals of their website and to make that website an effective tool for them.

Our web development team coded the site into a custom responsive WordPress theme and then our design team finished the project up by creating custom printed materials that carried consistent branding. Culver Meadows Adult Fost Care Facility

Culver Meadows adult foster care facility has been serving the Grand Traverse area and all of Northern Michigan for over 20 years. They have been a great client of Pro Web Marketing for some time as well. When owners Brad and Trina decided it was time to redesign the website they indicated that they wanted a clean, yet not clinical design, that reflected the atmosphere they provide to their guests. We were eager to help!

Our team of graphic designers used a wood background to help give the site a scence of warmth and quality, and laid out the content in a way that is easy to read but brings the proper attention to the important details.

The biggest challenge of modern websites is keeping them current and relevant. Not only do design styles change quickly, but guidelines for search engine optimization are constantly evolving as well. Our Web developers created a custom theme for Culver Meadows in the WordPress content management platform that meets all modern web standard. Pro Web Marketing adopted responsive web design as our standard very early on to make sure our clients web sites are optimized to be viewed on screen sizes from mobile devices such as phones and tablets to large monitors. User experience is an important part of website ranking on search engines such as Google and Bing, as is making sure the information on websites are up to date. The WordPress content management system allows for easy site updates and maintenance. Culver Meadows will no longer have to call a web developer to change the verbiage on their website or to add photos. Of course if for any reason they need help, Pro Web Marketing will be right here to help in anyway we can.

After the new website was live, our marketing team worked with Culver Meadows, to make sure the site was optimized to be found on search engines. We targeted the keywords that folks are actively searching for when looking for the services Brad and Trina’s team has to offer.

If you suspect that it may be time upgrade your website, or if you need help being found online, give us a call. We have a team of graphic designers, web developers, programers, and marketing folks that will work hard to make sure that your business identity and online presence is up to date and effective. Simply give us a call at 877 577 6932 or request a quote here. Put our team of professionals to work for you today. You won’t regret it!

New Traverse City stores to open downtown!

With summer just around the corner, Traverse City has begun opening a few new stores to draw in even more attention in the downtown area. Becky’s Flamingo Freeze opening June 1st will serve shakes, cones, smoothies and even pie with a main focus, of course, on cherries. The new frozen sweets store will be located at 801 West Front Street. Becky Collier, who with her husband currently owns the Pest Control business located on the same property, will run Becky’s Flamingo Freeze with the help of her grandkids.
Lisa Freeman, a Saugatuck native, will open Spice Merchants, a new spice shop coming to town. The store will have two locations: one will be located near the intersection of Front Street and Union Street, and the other will be in Building 50. Both locations are said to open on Memorial Day!
MicDaego’s is a new market/deli coming to downtown TC, as well. It will be located at 321 E. Front St. and is set to open the first week of June. The owners Jannette Winstanley and Joseph Balsam plan to give it a 50’s feel for customers. All of these sound like great reasons to make it downtown in the next couple of weeks!

Don’t Forget to Polish Up Your Web Presence As Part of Your Spring Cleaning!

The trees are budding, birds are singing, and there is snow in the air, this can only mean one thing: spring has come to Northern Michigan! Just down the line are the mild and relaxing days of summer . . .The time is upon us to open the windows (well almost), repaint the store front, and prepare for the army of tourists that will be filling our streets and our economy.  As people come to town and are unfamiliar with the local businesses, they will turn to the almighty internet for sagely directions and advice so make sure your website is up to date and polished for their arrival!

Rifle Season is in Full Swing

Even though we all are thinking about how bad the economy is, people are still making it out this Rifle season to bring home the meat! The season is in full swing and local area hunting enthusiasts are bringing down bucks. The department of Natural Resources announces that 34 deer were brought through there station on Wednesday alone. I myself went out on opening day and sat with a friend of mine and got his input on last years hunt from. He said that there just wasn’t as many hunters out that he usually has seen in previous year. He wasn’t really sure yet what that meant or even if this season was going to be great at all for hunting. This really makes me believe that

City Plans to Sue Charter Over channels

Charter communications is planning to rearrange certain public broadcasting channels. They are trying to move the channels 2 and 13 up to 96 and 97 as early as the first of December. It seems that Charter has decline talking to the record eagle about the whole thing. As they try to continue supporting themselves as a company it doesn’t seem like that have any interest in supporting local initiatives for our area. This type of move could severely damage the non profit stations mass of viewers.

Visiting, Living and Working in Traverse City

If you have never visited Traverse City, Michigan; I highly recommend it. The area offers many attractions including beautiful shores lines, rolling hills of cherry orchards, an active downtown area, outdoor recreation, wine tours and much more.

There are two main events held every year; the Traverse City film festival and the Cherry Festival. The film festival brings celebrities from all over the world and a lot of attraction to the city. The recent Michigan film incentives should work in tandem with Traverse City film festival and help bring activity to Michigan as whole. The Traverse City Cherry Festival began in 1910 and can bring over 500,00o visitors over an eight day period. The festival includes 150 activities and events to participate in. Its a great time of year to celebrate cherries, tourism, and community involvement.
